This version can be installed over a previous MD 7.8 or 7.9 version. If you are installing this version over 7.5, you will be required to order a new license.

Back Office

  1. The licensing library has been updated to the latest version. (Reference: MD-1918)

  1. The system will now print the pre-tax total on the check. (Reference: MD-2401)

POS general operations

  1. When applying a partial payment to a check, it can now be closed using a PATT device. (Reference: MD-2291)
  2. With the ITC meal plan interface, the information sent will now be encoded using UTF-8. (Reference: MD-2536)
  3. With the ITC meal plan interface, the system will now ensure that any card sentinel is removed before sending it to the interface. (Reference: MD-2568)

Online Ordering Interface (MDProxy)

  1. The system will now correctly close a counter order that was over-tendered online. (Reference: MD-2439)
  2. When importing pre-orders, the system will now generate order numbers based on the chronological order of the orders. (Reference: MD-2526)

Quebec Sales Recording Module (SRM)   

  1. When reprinting a delivery check, the system will now print all required information. (Reference: MD-2453, MD-2454)
  2. For a local delivery order, the printed closing receipt will now display any applied tip. (Reference: MD-2455)
  3. WEB-SRM information is now correctly generated for a check containing only items with no price. (Reference: MD-2534)
  4. WEB-SRM information is now correctly generated for a check paid through a PATT device and containing a service fee. (Reference: MD-2548)
  5. The closing receipt will no longer be printed when a driver closes a check with the cash tender type. (Reference: MD-2556)
  6. The system will now close the table correctly when voiding a check. (Reference: MD-2562)
  7. The system will now close the table correctly when clearing an order. (Reference: MD-2558)

The Void Table function is no longer available when using WEB-SRM; instead, use the Void Check functionality from the CMD menu. (Reference: MD-2093)
