This version can be installed over a previous MD 7.8 or 7.9 version. If you are installing this version over 7.5, you will be required to order a new license.

New feature additions

Usage of WEB-SRM without disconnecting the physical SRM

The system can now be upgraded to WEB-SRM without disconnecting the physical SRM.
To enable this, activate the option "Physical Sales Recording Module Connected" in the WEB-SRM configuration.

Support for printers without native QR code compatibility

The system can now use printers that are incompatible with native QR codes. However, performance degradation may occur depending on the printer.
Predefined printer configurations have been updated to include the necessary ESC/POS code for graphical printing. You may need to manually refresh the configuration for existing printer types.
A new option has been added to workstations to test printer compatibility with QR code printing. This function is available in the System Function menu.

Reports

  1. The Division Report now includes the "Subject to Alcohol Tax" field. (Reference: MD-1491)

POS general operations

  1. The system now transmits the tax value to the payment device. (Reference: MD-1528)

Electronic Funds Transfer

  1. The system now allows a delivery pre-order to be closed using a Pay-at-the-Table device. (Reference: MD-2055)

Quebec Sales Recording Module (SRM)   

  1. The system will now prompt the operator if a combo is detected when using the WEB-SRM. (Reference: MD-1958)
  2. With the delivery function set to use a driver but without the dispatch screen, the delivery check will no longer be automatically closed when reprinting using the WEB-SRM. (Reference: MD-1967)
  3. The sales export tool now works correctly when using the WEB-SRM and removing all items from a table using the "less" button. (Reference: MD-1996)
  4. The system now allows the use of the cancel check function on multiple guest checks that include voided items. (Reference: MD-2015)
  5. When printing a customer copy, the system will now print the correct date. (Reference: MD-2108)
  6. In a fast food system configured to not use "Amount Tender," the system will no longer merge multiple orders. (Reference: MD-2110)

Advanced UI

  1. The change screen now correctly displays large amounts. (Reference: MD-1959)
  2. The system now displays the check number when performing a media transfer with a cashier. (Reference: MD-1962)

Workarounds and known issues

The Void Table function is no longer available when using WEB-SRM; instead, use the Void Check functionality from the CMD menu. (Reference: MD-2093)
