This version can be installed over a previous MD 7.8 or 7.9 version. If you are installing this version over 7.5, you will be required to order a new license.

Issues Fixed

Back Office

  1. The process to remove the license from the system has been improved. (Reference: MD-1393)
  2. If a prerequisite item needs to be installed during the update process, the system will install it automatically without requiring user intervention. (Reference: MD-1512)

POS general operations

  1. The system will now correctly close the folio entry screen when the inactivity timeout is reached. (Reference: MD-1880)

Electronic Funds Transfer

  1. When using Tender-Retail, the system will now accept a partial authorization of the amount and prompt for another tender to complete the payment. (Reference: MD-1025)
  2. The system now provides the option to initiate a firmware update of the payment device when using Tender-Retail. (Reference: MD-1193)
  3. When reloading a meal plan card, the system will now allow tapping or swiping the credit card. (Reference: MD-1468)

Quebec Sales Recording Module (SRM)   

  1. The printing of the AVT royalty (Mont-Tremblant) on the check has been improved. (Reference: MD-1444)
  2. The table button in the order screen will now correctly switch to the new table. (Reference: MD-1810)
  3. For Pay at the Table transactions, the system will now update the WEB-SRM information only upon a successful response. (Reference: MD-1891)
  4. The system will now use the correct default value for the previous signature if it is empty. (Reference: MD-1894)
  5. Mandatory divisions will now be requested only when printing the check. (Reference: MD-1910)

Advanced UI

  1. The function buttons on the floor plan are now aligned. (Reference: MD-1822)
  2. The Google Analytics script has been removed. (Reference: MD-1876)
