This version can be installed over a previous MD 7.8 version. If you are installing this version over 7.5, you will be required to order a new license.


Important: All software releases should be validated in a lab environment before installing any release into a live site.  This testing should consider the customer configuration and data to ensure proper operation in any given live environment.

Post Release information

PR 7.08.000.331

  1. The system will start the automatic end of day without errors when using the SRM and PATT transactions. (Reference LP-2306)
  2. When closing the Point of Sales module, no errors will be logged in the Windows Event manager. (Reference LP-2311)
  3. External order with only cash payment will no longer generate an Error code 8. (Reference LP-2321)
  4. Now the manager will be able to close Online Orders that have been partially paid online. (Reference: LP-2310)

New feature additions

  1. ITC Meal Plan interface 

Interface with ITC as been updated to leverage the latest feature provided by ITC.

The ITC configuration page is located in “Server Control \ View \ Options \ Meal Plan”



Create a tender type for ITC by selecting “Meal Plan (HTTP)



Each workstation needs to be configured with ITC provided device ID.




Notes:

  1. The ITC payment needs to be the first applied payment.
  2. When using tax-exempt accounts, the entire tax-exempt amount of the check MUST be  paid in full via the ITC account (No partial payment on tax exempt amount).
  3. Only a single ITC card can be used per order/check.

  1. Void PATT transaction using PayFacto payment.

The system ready to support void PATT transaction from the POS when using PayFacto payment.

Reports

  1. The Inventory reports have been adjusted so that item without any usage format will not be part of the reports. (Reference LP-1526)

Back Office

  1. The system will now allow access to inventory items even if the stores are using E-Global. (Reference LP-1577)

Electronic Fund Transfer

  1. When doing capture transaction on a credit card transaction. The system will now correctly report the updated amount. (Reference: LP-1729)

Online Ordering Interface (MDProxy)

  1. Now when updating the file POLLMAP.DAT the system will no longer generate the error “Cannot Open File c:\posera\maitred\dat\pollmap.dat” in high volume situations. (Reference: LP-1721, LP-1728)
  2. When doing a split payment thru a PATD device. The system will keep the cash payment for the unpaid part of the check. This will ensure that in case of communication failure the check still have the remaining amount in cash. (Reference LP-1623)

HTML POS

  1. Now when doing a Tip adjustment (EMV US) the system will now save the tip information correctly. (Reference LP-1546)
