VEL#050 - Partage et Sécurité Windows


Veloce requires some Windows sharing and security settings to be done to run stable.


Windows Sharing


Share the Veloce folder to everyone with full control

  • Right click on the Veloce folder in C:\
  • Properties
  • Sharing tab
  • Click on the [Share...] button
  • Add 'Everyone'
  • Change the Permission Level to 'Read/Write'
  • Click on [Share]




Windows Firewall


You can either disable the Firewall or add exceptions on C:\Veloce folder
  • The firewall settings is located in Control Panel



If you want to disable the firewall, click on Properties
      Under Domain Profile - Private Profile and Public profile
      Change the Firewall state to Off



Windows UAC


  • Turn off the UAC by going to Windows Control Panel
  • Click on User Accounts
  • Click on Change User Account Control Settings
  • Move the cursor at the bottom
