This version can be installed over a previous Veloce version. 
Important: All software releases should be validated in a lab environment before installing any release into a live site. This testing should consider the customer configuration and data to ensure proper operation in any given live environment.

  1.  When performing a pre-authorization the system will print the transaction receipt. (Reference: LP-2869)

New feature additions


  1. Added support for Bar tabs for the US

          This option allows the creation of an order where the funds are guaranteed by a credit card.        

          Back-Office configuration
  1. The system needs to be configured to use PayFacto USA as the Eft protocol 


  2. Activate the option “Bar tab pre-authorization” in “Electronic fund transfer \ Configuration \ Configuration”
    The “Default amount” will be used to create the initial authorization and the subsequent increases.
    The “Single pre-authorization” option will allow the system to do only a single pre-authorization
  3. You need to provide access to the employee to use the “Bar tab” function.
    This can be done by selecting the option  “Can link bar tab to orders” located in “Point of Sale Control \ Employees \ Function files \ EFT”



  4. To allow the operator to start a bar tab. A bar tab button needs to be added to the screen.
    Select the “Bar tab start” function

Issues Fixed

Back Office

  1. The system has been adjusted to prevent the assignation of the same check number twice. (Reference:  LP-2582)
  2. The synchronization with the Veloce Analytics system has been improved to better manage some special symbols.  (Reference: LP-2628)  
  3. Now when wasting items in the Inventory Management module, the system will display the waste value in the grid. (Reference: LP-2573) 

POS General Operation

  1. Now the system will display the masked card number with each payment to facilitate the identification and selection of the payment to modify. (Reference: LP-2574)
  2. The system will now no longer require a long press in VelPay to access the different check printing options. The submenu will be automatically shown on a single touch. (Reference: LP-2337)
  3. Now when reopening a check that had multiple cash and EFT payments apply to it. The system will correctly calculate the rounding if an item is added.  (Reference: LP-2553)
  4. Orders with multiple checks closed using a credit card and the "All Cash" key on VelPay will now close without making the application hang.  (Reference: LP-2581)

Workarounds and known issues

  1. Adding a client to a bar tab after entering payment screen does not add it to the check. (Reference: LP-2891)
  2. No void pre-authorization receipt prints when voiding an order from employee functions. (Reference: LP-2894)
