This version can be installed over a previous Veloce version. 
Important: All software releases should be validated in a lab environment before installing any release into a live site. This testing should consider the customer configuration and data to ensure proper operation in any given live environment.

New feature additions

  1. Moneris P400 PIN pad 

The system now supports the the P400 PIN pad thru a USB cable.
The system can now be configured to use the Moneris P400 PIN pad MSR to capture the DataCandy gift card folio. 

            Back-Office configuration

             In the “Electronic funds transfer” module. Activate the  “POSPAD reader” located on the “Operation” tab, if support to read gift cards is required.                      

      

      This will enable the POS to use the card reader of the device to capture the gift card information. 

      An option is available from the workstation to initiate a firmware update of the PIN pad under Functions / Electronic funds transfer / PosPad
      
      The URL used to fetch the latest firmware can be modifier if required in the Electronic funds transfer module.

      The system will use a whitelisted BIN range to ensure that only DataCandy gift card folio is captured by the PIN pad.
      The BIN range is managed globally by PayFacto thru the Cloud.

  1. Changed Waiter for Employee on the POS

         The system will now prompt to provide an  Employee number instead of a waiter number when interacting with the POS.
      Reference: LP-2261

Issues Fixed

Back Office

  1. When creating the workstation data. All required files will be transmitted to the workstation including the files required for VelPay. (Reference: LP-2155)  
  2. The system will now validate the menu numbers when applying a broadcast to ensure that the system will not import invalid menus. (Reference: LP-2345)

POS General Operation

  1. The system will now allow closing a $0 check that is in the drive-thru queue. (Reference: LP-2500)
  2. Now when re-opening a drive-thru order to add new items, the system will use the same order information to display on the KDS. (Reference: LP-1829, LP-1830)
  3. The system will now pour the correct volume when using a Velmix CK with multiple quantities in a recipe. (Reference: LP-1906)
  4. Now when using the “Number bar” on the screen layout, the system will display the current quantity selected in the information section. (Reference: LP-2292)
  5. The system will now no longer display two delivery entries in the POS delivery module.  (Reference: LP-2317)
  6. When configuring the “Link: tab in the item configuration on the POS, the system will now allow the same configuration behaviour as the Back-Office. (Reference: LP-2318)
  7. Now when applying a FreeBees gift card payment the system will use the correct amount from the gift card transaction. (Reference: LP-2380)
  8. When exiting from the check distribution screen the system will now unlock all orders and checks. (Reference: LP-2369)
  9. When configured with include tax, the system will now distribute any remaining rounding value across all the items to show the amount before tax. (Reference: LP-2356)  
  10. The system will no longer show the password on the POS in plain text.  (Reference: LP-2369)

Online Ordering Interface (WebConnect)

  1. When performing a print request (Operation 8), the system will now use the requested printer. (Reference: LP-2344)
  2. Now the system will also return the “Street code” in the customer information query (Operation 2). (Reference: LP-2084)
