This version can be installed over a previous Veloce version. 
Important: All software releases should be validated in a lab environment before installing any release into a live site. This testing should consider the customer configuration and data to ensure proper operation in any given live environment.

Post Release information

PR 9.65.3

  1.  Performing check modification may lose payment or discount information that will impact employee reading and tip values.
    1. The problem occurs when using "All Cash" and "Skip" keys in Table, Takeout, and Running Bill ordering mode.
    2. Present in versions 9.62, 9.63, 9.64, 9.65

  1. Orders with multiple checks closed using the "All Cash" key will now have cash rounding on all checks. (Reference: LP-2312)
  2. Multiple checks from the same order closed on multiple workstations using the "All Cash" key will no longer lock the system. (Reference: LP-2315, LP-2330)

New feature additions

  1. Delivery information management

            To better manage delivery Customers and Address information from the Back-Office. The system now allows for the sorting of available columns along with making multiple selections.

  1. New EFT Provider support

Support for WorldPay EFT acquirer thru PayFacto has been added in the Electronic Fund Transfer module.     

                  

  1. New PATT mode for VelPay

In this mode the application is limited to apply payments only. This mode can be enabled on the “material page” located in the in the Workstation setup section. 

The option to list the open table and check has been moved from the “Delivery” page, to the “Operations” page in the “Employee function” section.

The system can be configured to not prompt the employee to provide his password when using the device as a PATT or PATD device.

Removed Features

Updating the Veloce version of a client site via Corporate Communication has been removed.

            

Remote updates can be done thru the Veloce Licensing management system. Please contact support if a remote update needs to be planned.

Issues Fixed


Back Office

  1. When disabling the option “Include charged tips to cash”. The system will now report the correct gratuities in the following reports:
    1. Summary of taxes and discounts (global and per employee)
    2. Global sales report 
    3. Sales report per employee
    4. Automatic reconciliation
    5. In-cash amount reconciliation
    6. Sales journal reconciliation

  1. The following reports have been adjusted for VAT tax when using the option “Remove added value tax from items.”:
    1. Tax summary per employee 
    2. Global Sales report page  
    3. Sales report per employee page

  1. Now when broadcasting POP UP from the Corporate Head Office, the division link information will be included.  (Reference: LP-1722)

POS General Operation

  1. The pre-order time will be printed on each kitchen receipt when selecting the “Separated kitchen receipts” option. (Reference: LP-1859)
  2. When doing a partial payment using a gift card, the system will now use and save the entered tip amount. (Reference: LP-2033)
  3. When using Secure Table to void a payment, the system will now use the appropriate rounding calculation. (Reference: LP-1818)
  4. System will allow for the cancellation of a refund done using DataCandy Gift cards. (Reference: LP-1450)
  5. When accessing a closed delivery check, the system will display the correct delivery number. (Reference: LP-1928)
  6. System will allow for the access of different checks from the same table by different workstation when applying a payment. (Reference: LP-1932) 
  7. When editing an item from the POS if the item description is removed, an error message is displayed to specify that a description is required. (Reference: LP-1803)
  8. The customizable tip screen flow and UI has been improved. (Reference: LP-2000)

Workarounds and known issues

Multiple Delivery customers and streets deletions

It is possible when a large number of streets of customer are selected to de deleted the confirmation message will not be correctly displayed on the screen. Preventing the operator to confirm the operation.

Use the keyboard ENTER key to confirm the operation
