Added support to allow customers to round up there check total to provide a donation.
To enable this feature:
On the tender type “options” tab a new section “Check rounding” has been added. This will allow users to configure the different rounding options. For example, rounding to the next $1, $5, $10 or $20 as shown below.
The system can be configured by Department to automatically prompt for a donation by checking the “Ask for Donations” box highlighted below.
The donation option will be prompted during payment (if configured) or by using the defined tender type.

The POS System has been updated to support the new British Columbia legislation regarding Soda Beverages tax. Reference: Notice 2021-02 -- Notice to Sellers of Soda Beverages
Create a 7% tax and flag the option “Discountable”.
If soda beverages are only sold as part of combos, legislation requires the tax to be charged based on 50% of the “Combo” price up to a maximum of $3. To achieve this calculation an exception needs to be created to specify:
The tax will be calculated on 50% of the combo item amount to a maximum of $3.00.
For soda beverages that can be purchased separately form a combo item. The Soda Beverages tax need to be specified in the configuration along with any other applicable tax.
If that item can also be part of a combo. The taxable item needs to be specified in the combo item.
