This version can be installed over a previous MD 7.8 or 7.9 version. If you are installing this version over 7.5, you will be required to order a new license.

Important: All software releases should be validated in a lab environment before installing any release into a live site.  This testing should consider the customer configuration and data to ensure proper operation in any given live environment.

Reports

  1. The export of discount information for reporting has been adjusted to prevent duplicate exports. (Reference: MD-1766)

Back Office

  1. The system will now correctly void a check from the Back-Office. (Reference: MD-777)

POS general operations

  1. The "Print modifier on all printers" option will now print items on the appropriate kitchen printers. (Reference: MD-1685)

Online Ordering Interface (MDProxy)

  1. When receiving a pickup order with CloseInvoice=True, the system will now print the required check. (Reference: MD-1564)

Quebec Sales Recording Module (SRM)   

  1. The label on reprinted and redistributed checks has been adjusted. (Reference: MD-1431)
  2. Pre-orders taken the day before the order date will now be processed correctly on the due date. (Reference: MD-1605)
  3. The system will ensure that all required RFERs for PATT transactions are correctly sent. (Reference: MD-1781)
  4. The management of the Workstation WEB-SRM certificate has been adjusted. (Reference: MD-1679)
  5. The management of the Back-Office WEB-SRM certificate has been adjusted. (Reference: MD-1782)
  6. When the WEB-SRM is offline, the system will no longer display a message on screen and will only print a message on the check. (Reference: MD-1804)

Advanced UI

  1. The font and color of the variable list can now be changed. (Reference: MD-1241)
  2. The workstation will now correctly react when no floorplan is assigned. (Reference: MD-1257)
  3. When initiating an EFT payment, the numeric keypad will no longer stay in the foreground. (Reference: MD-1581)
  4. The "Next" button on the preference screen will now work as expected. (Reference: MD-1647)
  5. The "Duplicate" function on the floorplan will now work as expected. (Reference: MD-1767)
  6. Tables can now be dragged directly onto the floorplan to be added. (Reference: MD-1768)
