This version can be installed over a previous MD 7.8 or 7.9 version. If you are installing this version over 7.5, you will be required to order a new license.

Important: All software releases should be validated in a lab environment before installing any release into a live site.  This testing should consider the customer configuration and data to ensure proper operation in any given live environment.

New feature additions

     HotSchedules Integration 

      Added support for two-way communication with HotSchedules, a web-based shift management and scheduling software.
      Users can now sync their schedules between Maitre’D and HotSchedules seamlessly.

      Reference MD-487

      Increased the number of KDS monitors in the Logical Printers configuration 

      Users can now select one of the 32 KDS monitors in the dropdown.

      Increased the number of Inventory Categories to 500 

      Users can now configure up to 500 categories in the Inventory Module.

Issues Fixed

Reports

  1. When using the “European Operations” option, the report will correctly show the tax information even if an item uses a 0% tax rate. (Reference: MD-622)

Back Office

  1. The option “Keyboard” in the payment configuration is now saved correctly. (Reference: MD-220)
  2. Now, when deleting a sales item, an enhanced warning message is displayed. (Reference: MD-244)
  3. The system will no longer generate a sales verification error if a non-taxable item is ordered when using the “European Operations” option.  (Reference: MD-624)
  4. The Invoice.xml file has been updated to format the "Tip" and "Fees" fields as monetary values. (Reference: MD-806)
  5. Files extracted by the report center will no longer be automatically deleted from the Temp folder after generation. (Reference: MD-381)

Property Management System Interface

  1. Resolved Room Charges failure issue triggered by "Difference mismatch" error when applying discounts in specific scenarios within OPERA. (Reference: MD-572) 

POS general operations

  1. The system will now prompt and save the loyalty program associated with an invoice (Reference: MD-104)
  2. Now when using non-integrated EFT, the MODIFY button from the CLOSE screen can be used to remove all payments from the check. (Reference: MD-242)
  3. Now when wasting an upsized item, the system will waste the appropriate quantity. (Reference: MD-544)
  4. The system will now use the appropriate price when changing an already surcharged item. (Reference: MD-370)
  5. Extra validation has been added to the end-of-day (EOD) process to prevent any division by 0. (Reference: MD-566) 
  6. The screen is refreshed correctly when ordering items without modifiers from an item list. (Reference: MD-746)
  7. Resolved the issue where the system failed to print the message displayed in the message center upon request. (Reference: MD-764)

QRPay interface

  1. Implemented functionality to initiate a loyalty point request upon payment when a loyalty card is assigned to the check. (Reference: MD-796) 

Online Ordering Interface (MDProxy)

  1. The system will no longer, in some circumstances, print "Training" on orders imported through the Online Ordering Interface. (Reference: MD-312)
  2. Now the system will correctly close external orders that are voided thru the interface. (Reference: MD-784)
  3. System now applies the expected rounding when importing orders with "CloseInvoice=False" under "European Operations" (Reference: MD-230).
  4. When importing a pre-order for multiple guests, taxes will be accurately assigned to each check. (Reference: MD-974)

Quebec Sales Recording Module (SRM)     

  1. The system will process all RFER for external orders that need to be closed during the End of Day process and allow the use of the automatic EOD.  (Reference: MD-751)

France Fiscal Implementation (NF525)  

  1. When reprinting a check from the “Status” screen, the check will no longer have the “VOID” label. (Reference: MD-494) 
  2. When printing a duplicate of a note, the system will now request a printing reason. (Reference: MD-553)
  3. In fast food scenarios, the discount applied on one check is no longer shown on the next check. (Reference: MD-495)
  4. The system now allows you to print a check from the "Back-Office" for a previous day. (Reference: MD-558)
  5. When doing a table transfer the required information is now available in the JET and the transfer report. (Reference: MD-241)
  6. Reprinting a ticket will now increment the sequential number. (Reference: MD-827)

Advanced UI

  1. Now advanced UI versions of the preferential screens are part of the broadcast. (Reference: MD-628)
  2. When selecting images for different buttons, they will now be available on the point-of-sale (POS) system. (Reference: MD-363)
  3. The floor editor now allows performing multiselection to perform different operations. (Reference: MHP-117)
  4. The "Flashing" effect when selecting an item from a variable has been reduced. (Reference: MHP-132)
  5. Fixed the issue where the system failed to reprint a "Finalized" EFT transaction from the table verification screen. (Reference: MD-223)
  6. Enhanced system to display item code in the dropdown for creating a variable list button. (Reference: MHP-155)
  7.  Improved behavior of upsize button, keeping it highlighted until item selection for upsizing. (Reference: MHP-153)
  8. Displaying accurate hold time of items in the order screen. (Reference: MHP-136)
  9. Implemented prevention of duplicate table creation with the same number on the floor plan. (Reference: MHP-135)
  10. Correctly displaying all tables when using the floor plan as the screen saver. (Reference: MHP-143)
  11. Integrated Resdiary to display customer information upon seating. (Reference: MHP-147)
  12. Enabled scrolling through all available pages of the booking list with Resdiary integration. (Reference: MHP-148)
  13. Timecard changes are now applied immediately. (Reference: MHP-89)
  14. The system will now correctly use the programmed tender type on the order screen. (Reference: MHP-94)
