Enabling ECR Mode on PayFacto Terminals
Enabling ECR Mode
This document explains how to activate the ECR mode with the following PAX payment terminals:
- A80 & A920
- S80
- S90
- S300
- D210
- S920
Please refer to the section that applies to your terminal.
NOTE: This document assumes that the terminal has previously been configured to use ECR mode.
A80 & A920
The A80 and A920 are Android-based terminals that use the PayFacto Gateway application to access ECR mode.
To use the Gateway application, you simply touch the Gateway PayFacto icon on the terminal’s main screen.

NOTE: After you use the PayFacto Gateway application the first time, the terminal’s default behavior is to start the application automatically after you restart the terminal.
S80
To access ECR mode:
From the terminal’s main screen, press the yellow Correction key.
NOTE
: If you need to restart the terminal, you must repeat this procedure to re-access ECR mode.
S90
To access ECR mode:
From the terminal’s main screen, press the yellow Clear key.
NOTE: If you need to restart the terminal, you must repeat this procedure to re-access ECR mode.
S300
To access ECR mode:
From the terminal’s main screen, press the yellow
key.
NOTE: If you need to restart the terminal, you must repeat this procedure to re-access ECR mode.
D210
To access ECR mode:
From the terminal’s main screen, press the yellow < key.
NOTE: If you need to restart the terminal, you must repeat this procedure to re-access ECR mode.
S920
To access ECR mode:
From the terminal’s main screen, press the green O (OK) key and 5 at the same time.
NOTE: If you need to restart the terminal, you must repeat this procedure to re-access ECR mode.
